Now is the perfect time for me to join this site - I"ve valued an active, healthy lifestyle for a long time but in the last year, I"ve been in a hot pursuit of the great body I know I can have!
I love the gym and visit about 5 times a week - combining strength training with cardio. I"m a loyal fan of Interval Training!! Strength training has given me results I never expected to see so quickly.
I also like to mix it up by doing Pilates at home. I don"t mind yoga either, I just love the burn that Pilates gives me.
So right now I'm focused on shedding some extra body fat while maintaining a nice toned physique. One of my biggest goals is to have a sexy back (which will hopefully be a canvas for some artwork) - and finally do a pull up.
I"m also interested in diet and nutrition and am always up for a convo about that.
Most importantly, I"m interested in a healthy, balanced well-being. Whatever my fitness goals are, I want to achieve them the healthy, safe way - without being swayed by the crazy media perception of the "perfect" body.
Other things about me: I love cooking, reading, playing guitar, and am a bit of a football and hockey fanatic.
Also, I lived in FL last year and will likely go back in the next year - though I am proudly Canadian =)
