I retired from the U.S Army back in Feb of 2004.  I was an Army Medic.  I worked for an Ophthalmology Clinic for my 1st year and after that I started working for the County Adult Probation Dept.  I enjoy my work now, working for Doctor's in the military was cool but civilian doc's have a different mindset than mil. doc's.  I prefer the Mil. Doc's, they don't get too full of themselves and get that 'God' complex that they seem to on the outside.  I'm a member of the YMCA and lost 46 lbs. last year, went from 236 to 189 lbs.  I have put on 20+ lbs back on and need to get motivated again.  I met a guy at one of the other Y's and we decided to start working out together, problem is he is getting over pneumonia so I'm on my own for a while still.  I love riding motorcycles, tattoo's, music, art/photography.  I want to get in shape so I look good in my tattoo's...

Okay, so today (1/2/2009) is a big day for me and for my personal training partner Jan King.  For the first time ever, both she and I are actually competing in some sort of fitness competition.  In all my 34 years+ of working out I have never competed as a bodybuilder, or as a weight/power lifter, not ever.  Jan is a 49 year old mother of 7.  She started training hard with me on 1/2/2008, yes exactly one year ago.  She has made incredible progress in the past year too.  You can see some great photos of Jan at: http://www.creativecommonsense.us/b4after.html#janking Please vote for us in the World Physique Modeling Contest for January of 2009.  Go to: http://www.worldphysique.com/contests and cast your votes for Jan King and for me, Nick Casale.

Thanks for the friend request, and welcome to the site.  It's a great place for advice, encouragement and support.  Nice photo of the Victory, too.
