For me it´s not about longevity, it´s about capability and quality of life. I have been working out with weights for about 33 years (on and off). My motivation is to be physically, nutritionally, mentally, and spiritually fit because it not only makes sense, but it is ingrained in me. It is a very big part of who I am. I am a totally natural bodybuilder, not a competitor, but a bodybuilder for my own well-being, and hopefully an inspiration to others as well. At 47 years old, with over 33 years of working out, combined with great nutritional habits, I have finally achieved optimal health.
You might actually say that I am a bit of a 'Mr. Clean' in the world of bodybuilding. I don't take any drugs (legal or otherwise) of any kind, I don't take supplements (except for Omega-3s), I don't eat or drink junk food or junk drinks, I don't dye my hair, no tatoos, and no body piercings. I am a totally natural bodybuilder. The only other thing I take is Juice PLUS+ which is not a supplement it is whole food in capsule form. With the 3 blends of Juice PLUS+ that I take (Orchard, Garden, and Vineyard) that's about 27 fruits, vegetables, and berries, two times per day. I also eat lots of fruits, vegetables, berries, nuts, seeds, whole grains, small portions of very lean meats, and fish. And, I drink a lot of water and green and white tea as well.
